VMRC vs RDP to Window server

 VMRC and RDP to Windows server behave same except you can't copy over from local PC to remote PC using VMRC.

While RDP to remote server default display configuration/parameters will be overwritten to remote PC.  Should make sure local settings are set to default before logging in. 

Get Path of File; Short-Cut; Shift + Right Click on Windows machine

 Shift+Right Click give an option to copy File Path.

VM Snapshot vs Backup

 A snapshot is a read-only copy of the disk contents which stores just the differences in the data between the original and the snapshot. Snapshots are useful for making incremental backups and quickly reverting to a previous version of the disk data.

A backup is a full copy of the disk contents which stores all the data from the last backup. Backups are useful for storing a complete version of the disk's data so that the data can be restored should something unexpected happen.
